Larry Johnson is a graduate of the School of Speech at Northwestern University, in Evanston, IL. He earned his Master's in Economics & Latin American Studies, from La Universidad de las Americas in Mexico City.
His professional background includes:
- 21 years as a Human Resources manager with SBC Communications.
- He is accredited as a Personnel Specialist by the National Personnel Accreditation Institute.
- 22 years as a radio and television broadcaster in the U.S. and Mexico.
- He broadcast the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, the 1969 Apollo 11 "Lunar Landing", and was the first blind American newscaster on Mexican television.
- 25 years as an international motivational speaker and workshop presenter.
- He has presented at conferences, conventions and meetings in the U.S., Mexico and Japan for colleges, civic associations, government agencies, and private corporations.
Larry is an internationally recognized keynote speaker and workshop presenter. His popular motivational talks, delivered with warmth and humor, are designed to challenge, encourage and inspire audiences to "believe in themselves", "follow their dreams" and face life with optimism, perseverance and a sense of humor.
