Rebound Workshop
Lessons In Resiliency And Raising Self-Esteem
The "Rebound" Workshop is available as a half day (3 hours) or full day (5 hours) interactive program and can be customized to your organization's specific needs.
Rationale:
Self-esteem – feeling worthy and able to meet life’s challenges – is as essential as the air we breathe and just as intangible. It can impact our job, happiness, health, and our relationships with others.
The development of healthy self-esteem enables a person to respond and adapt to the demands of life in a confident manner. The ability to be resilient – able to rebound from disappointment, adversity or rejection – is a large part of building self-esteem.
Stress in our lives, such as family problems, illness, the death of a loved one, divorce, or having a financial setback can greatly deplete our reserves of self-esteem.
The good news is that we can also learn to rebuild it.
Objectives:
This workshop emphasizes three important principles:
- Low self-esteem can negatively impact job performance, personal health and our relationships with others.
- There are practical, proven techniques which can be learned to raise our self-esteem and rebound from adversity and temporary setbacks.
- Having a healthy self-esteem and positive mental attitude are the keys to successful living.
Goals:
The workshop will:
- Identify those factors which contribute to high and low self-esteem,
- Help participants acknowledge their limiting beliefs and behaviors, and
- Outline the steps which they can take to make a positive change.
